This “Armine Website Visitor Clarification Text” has been prepared by Armine Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Armine” or “Company”) in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and the Communiqué on Principles and Procedures to Be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform, to fulfill the obligation of disclosure regarding the processing of your personal data.
1. Purpose and Identity of the Data Controller
Your personal data will be processed by Armine, located at Topçular Mahallesi, Sahabeler Caddesi No:3/5, Sıla İş Merkezi, Eyüp/Istanbul, as the data controller under the Law. Your data will be processed for the purposes listed below, in connection with and limited to these purposes, ensuring accuracy, currency, and compliance.
2. Categories and Purposes of Processed Personal Data
Your personal data will be processed in compliance with the fundamental principles stipulated in the Law and within the scope of Articles 5 and 6 of the Law. Data collected during visits to the Armine website may be processed for recording and storing traffic information, conducting statistical analyses of visits, improving website functionality, customizing your visit, providing suitable content, delivering personalized advertisements, and increasing website visits.
Personal data collected through visits to the website may also be used for operational security purposes, including recording and storing IP address information, tracking website access and exit logs, and fulfilling legal obligations. Data may also be processed for improving the website, ensuring its functionality, managing processes such as customer registration, and providing personalized advertisements through tracking and advertising cookies, with customer consent.
Personal data is obtained through visits to the Armine website or, for non-essential cookies, with the visitor's explicit consent. Processing is based on legal grounds provided under the Law, including explicit stipulation in laws, performance of a contract, or the necessity of processing for establishing, exercising, or protecting a legal right.
No personal data collected through the Armine website is transferred internationally. However, personal data may be shared with authorized institutions, organizations, and business partners domestically to fulfill the purposes listed above.
When the purpose requiring the processing of your personal data ceases to exist, or the statutory retention periods expire, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in compliance with the Law.
3. Rights of the Data Subject and Exercising These Rights
Under Article 11 of the Law, and subject to the exceptions outlined in Article 28, data subjects have the following rights:
- To learn whether their personal data is being processed.
- To request information if their personal data has been processed.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is being used in accordance with the purpose.
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or internationally.
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data and to request notification of such corrections to third parties to whom the data has been transferred.
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons for processing no longer exist and to request notification of such deletions to third parties to whom the data has been transferred.
- To object to any unfavorable outcome resulting from the analysis of personal data solely by automated systems.
- To claim compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of personal data.
For requests regarding your rights, you may submit a written and signed application containing the minimum requirements specified in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller via the following methods:
- Delivering it in person to the company headquarters at Topçular Mahallesi, Sahabeler Caddesi No:3/5, Sıla İş Merkezi, Eyüp/Istanbul.
- Sending it via notary.
- Sending it electronically, signed with an electronic signature, to our KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) address at [email protected].
- Or, if your email address is registered in our systems, submitting it via email to [email protected].
